Deven JC DeMarco has worked in some of New York City’s hippest restaurants such as La Esquina, Spice Market, Pastis and Frank. Deven draws his inspiration from cross cultural experiences having travelled at a young age through Europe and later living in Costa Rica where he was a private chef and restaurant consultant. He was recently a contestant on Food Network’s new program “24 Hour Restaurant Battle”. He is currently pining for a fresh pressed quesadilla de tinge, planning his next GRUB CRAWL.
He, along with the incomparable M Wells Diner staff, was profiled on NBC’s The Feast blog and in a “blink and you’ll miss him moment” in Vice mag’s restaurant staff-after-hours episode of Munchies.
